Born in Burgos, in the heart of northern Spain, Sergio began drawing from a young age. At 18, he moved to Madrid to study Interior Design at the Polytechnic University. Madrid shaped his creative spirit, but the places and habits that raised him still influence his outlook. In 2024, after a couple of years working as an interior designer, he founded Tequila Studio as a platform to share the art he had been creating since childhood. Through this channel, he celebrates the Mediterranean way of life and the everyday — from summer rituals to urban routines — all seen through a playful, ironic lens.
Shaped by a generation defined by hyperconnectivity, emotional intensity, and shifting values—yet still connected to the recent past—Tequila Studio gives popular culture the attention it deserves and offers a fresh take on contemporary costumbrismo. With a vibrant palette and an approachable, playful style, Sergio works to transform fleeting moments into compositions that are ironic, sensual, and deeply visual, capturing the subtle, often overlooked details that define modern life.
